Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Home Loan Auditor to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a keen eye for compliance, data accuracy, and internal control procedures, especially within the home loan and lending space.

Key Responsibility Areas:

    • Audit home loan files, ensuring completeness of documentation for commercial equipment and retail loans.
    • Review key loan documentation including financial statements, credit verifications, CIBIL reports, sanction letters, KYC documents, and approvals.
    • Ensure compliance with company lending policies, customer checklists, and regulatory norms.
    • Assess loan files for terms and documentation related to home loans, mortgages, encumbrance certificates, disbursements, credit appraisals, Company Law, Partnership Acts, sanction letters, and loan agreements.
    • Utilize a risk-based audit approach and conduct operational and compliance audits.
    • Examine records, reports, and processes to ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
    • Verify assets and liabilities through supporting documentation.
    • Document audit tests and findings in detailed working papers.
    • Update audit programs and recommend improvements to internal control policies.
    • Prepare and present audit findings and reports to relevant stakeholders.
    • Travel to various business locations as needed for audit assignments.

Requirements:

    • Graduate in any discipline; 1–4 years of experience in home loan audits preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of KYC compliance and lending documentation.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Solid understanding of audit principles, internal controls, and risk management.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw accurate conclusions.
    • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
    • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
    • Possession of a two-wheeler for local commute is preferred.
